At SOMA, chocolatiers hand-sort, roast, conch and mould chocolate into wonderful, melt-in-your-mouth creations. Founded in 2003 by David Castellan and Cynthia Leung, the main goal of SOMA is to find new ways to create and enjoy chocolate.
Their product list includes microbatch chocolate bars, regular “plain and simple” chocolate bars, truffles, gelato, cookies, “revolution tumbles” (balls of chocolate and other ingredients, like chai spiced cashews, australian ginger or even roasted corn), toffee, drinking chocolate, molded chocolate (in the shape of tree parts) and chocolate bark. Some of their most popular chocolates include their eight-year-aged balsamic truffle and the butter caramel with fleur de sel.
You can visit their two locations in Toronto to purchase delicious chocolate creations or you can order online. Their shipping rates are calculated based on your location AND you can choose which method (and thus, the cost).
